In a bowl, combine the flours, yeast, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the egg with the plant-based milk and oil.
Combine the liquids with the solids and mix until you obtain a smooth batter.
Let it rest for 5–10 minutes.
Pour the batter into the hot waffle maker and cook until golden brown (usually 4–5 minutes), or pour into silicone molds and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes.
