Quadra Franciacorta Qsaten Brut
Quadra Franciacorta QSaten is the vintage Franciacorta Saten from Cantina Quadra. The term Saten refers to a particular type of Franciacorta wine that has lower bottle pressure, around 4.5 bar, compared to the 6 bar found in other types of Franciacorta wines. The second characteristic of Franciacorta Saten is that it is produced only with white grape varieties, in this case, Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco. The grapes are hand-harvested between mid-August and early September and brought to the winery for gentle pressing. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks and French oak barriques, and the wine remains on the fine lees for 8 months before blending. The cuvée is the blend of base wines that will make up the Quadra Franciacorta QSaten, which is bottled after the addition of sugar and yeast to allow the second fermentation in the bottle and the formation of bubbles. After 41 months, the Quadra Franciacorta QSaten is disgorged and released to the market. Pairings: Quadra Franciacorta QSaten pairs perfectly with seafood appetizers and first courses, excellent with delicate white meats, and perfect with aged hard cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano. Storage: Store at 16-18°C Alcohol content: 12.5% Vintage: 2020 Designation: Franciacorta DOCG Aging: In bottle for 41 months.
