Description
The Ricotta Forte from Pecora Nova Marte is a cheese made with fermented sheep's milk and aged for at least 18 months before being packaged in 100g jars. Ricotta Forte is a flavorful cheese with a strong and spicy taste, excellent on pasta dishes or enjoyed on its own on warm bread. Ricotta Forte is a typical Apulian product made by Nova Marte, presented in a jar in a creamy form with a white color tending towards yellow. Pairings: Ricotta Forte is excellent on warm bread or on pasta dishes. Recommended wine: a structured red like Negramaro. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Processing: The sheep's milk is inoculated with lamb whey starter as per Apulian tradition. Once the cheese curd is formed, it is broken and fermented before being placed in typical shaped molds.
