Red wine The Brunello di Montalcino by Uggiano is born in the company vineyards located in the renowned municipality of Montalcino, in the heart of the DOC Brunello di Montalcino. It is produced with pure Sangiovese Grosso grapes, entirely hand-harvested. Fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins for 18-22 days, in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 26-28 °C. Subsequently, the wine matures for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels. This Brunello di Montalcino presents a deep ruby red color, with slight garnet reflections. The nose reveals hints of wild fruits and violet, accompanied by elegant notes of toasted wood and cloves. On the palate, it is well-structured and soft, with great balance. Perfect for accompanying first courses and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with truffles, game, and aged cheeses.
