The “San Felice Chianti Classico” is born from a blend of Sangiovese, Colorino, and Pugnitello, harvested during the month of September. Fermentation is temperature controlled at 28-30°C for 8-10 days, in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for about 10-12 months in barriques and for another 2 months in bottle. Ruby red color. Intense fruity bouquet, with elegant hints of plum, blackberry, and raspberry. On the palate it is full-bodied, with a soft tannic structure and excellent persistence.
