🍷Stefano Amerighi Serine 2018 Stefano Amerighi Serine 2018 is a deep and natural Syrah, produced in Poggiobello di Farneta, in the municipality of Cortona, Tuscany. The vineyards are located at about 300 meters altitude, on clay and limestone soils, well exposed to the southeast, ideal for the ripening of Syrah. 🏷️ Stefano Amerighi Serine 2018 🌿 Cultivation practices Certified biodynamic agriculture, with manual work, phytosanitary protection based on copper and sulfur in minimal doses, and use of natural infusions. Stefano Amerighi Serine 2018 is vinified without added sulfites, nor filtration or stabilization. 🔬 Technical characteristics Designation: Toscana IGT Grapes: 100% Syrah (Serine clone) Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks, part of the grapes whole, part destemmed and foot-trodden Aging: 14 months in cement and wood Alcohol content: 13% 👁️🗨️👃👄 Tasting notes 👁️🗨️ Intense ruby red 👃 Blueberry, blackberry, rhubarb, cinchona, undergrowth and garrigue 👄 Smooth, balanced, with fine tannins and good persistence 🍽️ Food pairings Sliced veal Pici pasta with Cinta Senese ragù Lamb stew Semi-aged cheeses Special pairing: Chianina hamburger with caramelized onion and pecorino cream ✨ Curiosity Stefano Amerighi Serine 2018 comes from a clone personally selected by Stefano in the Rhone Valley.
