
Denomination: Terre Siciliane IGP Grape variety: Frappato and Nerello Mascalese Name: Frappello Alcohol: 13.5° Format: 0.75L Production area: Marsala (TP), Sicily, Italy Description: The vinification is done in a traditional way, with careful hand harvesting of the grapes, maceration and fermentation of the destemmed grapes for 15-20 days in stainless steel fermenters at a temperature of 25°C, malolactic fermentation in steel. The aging of 30% in 225-liter barriques for 4 months, the rest for 8 months in stainless steel tanks. The color is ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose it is fresh, the bouquet is full, with notes of spices and underbrush fruits. On the palate the scents perceived on the nose return. The sip is round, with good tannin, and a long and persistent finish. Recommended pairing with appetizers, meat or fish first courses, red meats, or medium-aged cheeses. Recommended temperature: 14-16° C
