The color is intense ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, it is intense, powerful, and characteristic, with hints of cassis and dried plums alternating with tobacco and leather. On the palate, it offers velvety silkiness, pleasantness, great consistency, and intense warmth. The tannin is present and persistent with a vibrant acidity. Recommended pairing with elaborate first courses, red meats, stews, hard and aged cheeses. Serving temperature: 18-20° C
