Ornella 2012 presents itself with an intense ruby color, and on the nose with intensely fruity and spicy notes of great pleasantness. On the palate it is wide, round and free of edges, with a polished tannin. In 2012 there is no lack of the proverbial concentration that distinguishes the great vintages of Ornellaia, but this vintage hides it behind a generous and sumptuous structure, in a finish of long persistence. This bottle comes from collections of private individuals, from restaurants, wine shops, or from rare wine merchants.
