The color is intense red. On the nose, there are notes of ripe fruit, berry jam, notes of graphite, and wilted violet, very complex. On the palate, it is full-bodied and very consistent, with notes ranging from vanilla to pepper, well balanced. Recommended pairing with pasta with meat sauce or risottos, red meats, roasts, game, braised dishes, and well-aged cheeses.
