Denomination: Terre Siciliane IGP Cabernet Sauvignon Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Name: Sant'Anselmo Cabernet Sauvignon Alcohol: 13.5° Volume: 0.75L Production Area: Slopes of Mount Jato, Monreale (PA), Sicily, Italy Description: Manual harvesting of the grapes, vinification takes place using traditional methods, subjecting the grapes to maceration in contact with the skins for at least a week, at a fermentation temperature of about 28° C. The wine is matured in stainless steel containers for about 3 months, followed by a passage in barriques for another 3 months and then aged in the bottle for about 6 months. The color is ruby red with crystalline carmine reflections. On the nose, fruity, floral, vegetal, and spicy notes are perceived, with hints of currant, plums, cherries, and blackberries, violet and vanilla, and wafts of black pepper, chocolate, nuts, and tobacco, with a balsamic finish. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, dry, warm, soft, moderately fresh and tannic, with an intense and persistent finish. Recommended pairing with cured meats, aged cheeses, first and second courses based on meat and mushrooms, grilled dishes. Serving temperature: 16-18° C
