Brune (Bottle 33 cl)

Could a brewery dedicated to Belgium like Maltus Faber refrain from producing a Dubbel? Of course not, and indeed, here is Brune. The color is the typical brown of the style, also known as "monk's robe," with beautiful coppery reflections. On the nose and palate, it is a triumph of fruit, dried fruit, hints of molasses, and toffee. The alcohol content slightly exceeds the classic Trappist examples, reaching up to 8 degrees, which warms without burning and makes it an excellent companion during a winter dinner.
