Erle Black Lager. After decades, the most famous brewery in Bamberg, Brauerei Heller Trum - better known as Schlenkerla - produces two novelties. One of these is a beer of a very dark color, which alongside the typical smoky imprint of the house features chocolate and roasted notes. The real peculiarity of Erle, however, is the smoking of the malt, which takes place on alder wood. The result is a beer with a milder smokiness and also a lower alcohol content, but full of flavor and great drinkability!
