It has a brown color with reddish highlights and a fine and compact foam, with good persistence. On the nose, it presents fruity and spicy notes, from vanilla to citrus and ripe fruit; on the palate, it is soft and pleasant, with hints of caramel and licorice. Despite the 9.2% vol, Rochefort 8 is drinkable and has a solid body but not excessive. With a dry and bitter finish, it leaves a pleasant aftertaste.
