Bas Armagnac Hors d’Age is an expression of great elegance and smoothness. Soil: reddish sandy and silty. Grape varieties: Folle Blanche, Baco A22. In the distillery: after a light settling of the musts, distillation takes place between late November and December with the traditional continuous Armagnac still with plates, mounted on a trailer and wood-fired. The obtained spirit is colorless and will have an alcohol content between 54% and 56%, which will be lost during aging in barrels. Aging: in 400-liter oak barrels from Gers for 13 years. Classification: Hors d’Age - XO. Alcohol content: 45%. Format: 700 ml, also available with a wooden case.
