Bulles d'Etoiles winks at Dom Pérignon, the first to enhance the effervescence of champagne, saying: "Venez vite mes frères, je bois des étoiles". Cultivation: Lepreux-Penet, with an estate of 8 hectares, is a family-run business founded in the 18th century by Basle Penet. During the French Revolution, as a grower, he supplied grapes to other growers with the presses. In 1929, thanks to Louis-Gilbert Penet, the family began producing and bottling Champagne under their own brand. Even today, everything is done manually following the family tradition. In the cellar: made from grapes from old vineyards exposed in an ideal position, "Les Vardes", and aged in steel. After resting in bottles in the crayères, the traditional chalk cellars, for at least 3 years, this champagne manifests itself in all its breadth and generosity. Characteristics: yellow in color with golden reflections and a fine, light bubble, it offers floral aromas (white flower and fresh almond), a nice minerality, followed by hints of dried fruit and acacia flower honey candies. The attack on the palate is soft and fresh, with notes of ripe fruit and white peach, gently supported by a pleasant freshness in the finish.
