Three years later the estate was visited by the famous American winemaker Robert Mondavi who recognized the region's high potential and advised the Horgan family during the early years of the project. Today Leeuwin Estate is best known for its sensational Art Series Chardonnay which has a cult following thanks to the exceptional microclimate of the estate and very low yields. Also from their Art Series is this stunning Riesling made with estate-grown fruit. The variety thrives here thanks to the sunny summer days and cool sea breezes that help lock in a lot of vibrant freshness and delicate aromas.
