Ron Isla del Tesoro Santiago de Cuba Limited Edition 2500 bottles - 0.70 L - IN WOODEN CASE - CLAY BOTTLE
This fine Rum was conceived to represent the robust and bold aguardiente demanded by corsairs and pirates who roamed the coasts of Cuba between the 16th and 18th centuries, an era known as the Treasure Island. This spirit, part of the loot plundered in the waters of the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, is presented in an elegant ceramic bottle, entirely handcrafted by skilled Cuban Ceramic Masters. The Rum Isla del Tesoro stands out from the spirits of the past thanks to meticulous aging and a production process carried out with dedication. This beverage possesses a pure and sophisticated soul, which, while full-bodied, reveals itself to be delicate on the palate, elegantly caressing both the taste buds and the sense of smell. The Rum Isla del Tesoro combines very aged distillates, kept in equally precious chests, handcrafted by Cuban Master Carpenters, creating the "jewel" of Cuban rum. It is the result of the knowledge, commitment, and work of the fervent rum industry of Santiago de Cuba, with a 150-year history in the production of Cuban Light Rum, passed down through eight generations of Santiago de Cuba's Maestros Roneros. In June 2016, the Rum Isla del Tesoro received the prestigious ITQI (International Taste & Quality Institute) award in Brussels, earning the 3-star Superior Taste & Quality Award. For over half a century, the Rum Isla del Tesoro has been the personal reserve of the government of the Republic of Cuba, reserved as a gift for heads of state, prime ministers, and other prominent figures visiting the island, as well as for Cuban workers who have distinguished themselves for their significant social and economic contributions. Currently, El Ron Cubano has the exclusive right to offer it on the Italian and international markets in extremely limited quantities, with a production not exceeding 2000 bottles per year. Each bottle is marked with a unique number.
