Chardonnay Castello di Monsanto Collection (2022)
Fabrizio Bianchi Chardonnay IGT Toscana The Chardonnay is the result of Fabrizio Bianchi's intuition, who, in the mid-seventies, decided to plant this vineyard on his property located outside the Chianti Classico denomination. With an eye on the great whites of Burgundy, at the beginning of its production history, it was entirely fermented in wood. In the 2000s, the Chardonnay saw a gradual reduction of oak until it settled on the current method, which involves fermenting about 70% of the grapes in steel. There is a great history present in the cellar, testifying to this wine's excellent ability to stand the test of time.
