Scalabrone Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Antinori (2023)
Scalabrone Bolgheri Antinori This rosé originates from the vineyard known as "Scalabrone," named after the bandit who lived in this area in the early 1800s. A sort of local Robin Hood who attacked ships in the ancient canal port of Bolgheri. The base, as is fitting for the region of origin, is entirely international. A skillful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah grapes that are vinified in steel to enhance their freshness and the most pleasant notes of red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry. Tuscan Wines Scalabrone is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a portion of Syrah for a rosé with bold and intense aromas, characteristic of the Bolgheri region. The vineyard, like the wine, is named after the bandit "Scalabrone" who lived in this area in the early 1800s and is situated on silty-clay soils of predominantly alluvial origin, rich in pebbles.
