Orma Bolgheri Toscana Red Orma is born from vineyards located along the Via Bolgherese, in the Livorno municipality of Castagneto Carducci. It is the result of a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grapes, which ferment for 21 days, with extended skin contact, in steel at a controlled temperature of 26-28°C. The wine ages for 12 months in partially new French oak barriques and for an additional 12 months in glass. It is characterized by a purple-red color with violet reflections. Intriguing on the nose, it develops around notes of berries, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, it reveals a soft and silky texture, with spicy notes and ripe red fruit. Excellent with all meals, this wine enhances red meat dishes and semi-aged cheeses.
