CHARACTERISTICS Velvety with intriguing spicy notes, the Syrah Desertico Mandrarossa is a red wine that captivates from the first sip. Its name evokes the arid lands of the Sahara, from which the warm Scirocco wind that caresses our coasts originates. VINIFICATION After maceration for 6/8 days at a temperature of 22-25°C, maturation takes place in steel tanks for 8 months. TASTING NOTES The wine has an intense red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it is a fruity floral, with notes of carob and figs, hints of elderflower and lavender. On the palate, it is velvety, with notes of ripe red fruit. DENOMINATION Rosso Sicilia DOC ORIGIN TERRITORY Menfi, southwestern coasts of Sicily. PAIRINGS Recommended with semi-aged cheeses and red meat.
