DESCRIPTION Canestrato is a typical pressed cheese from Modica, with a thin crust and straw-yellow color. It has a cylindrical shape, with surfaces where the grooves left by the characteristic baskets, tools used during its production, can be observed. In addition to the classic canestrato, there are also variants with black pepper, chili pepper, and pistachio. INGREDIENTS: Cow's milk, rennet, salt. Variants with Black Pepper, Pistachio, and Chili Pepper. FORMAT: All cheeses are subject to a weight variation of 50 g more or less. The sale price we have indicated has been calculated on the lower side, so the price the customer will pay will still be based on the lower weight of the average product weight.
