We prepare it with the famous and prized bergamots from Reggio Calabria, cultivated in the Ionian - Reggio area, harvested during the peak ripening period between November and March, when the fruits reach the height of their aromatic properties. We choose to use the peel for our marmalade as well, because it is the part richest in essential oils, full of beneficial and healthy properties. A true delight with 68% fruit and only a small amount of added sugars, without the use of colorants or preservatives.
