This coffee is not only good for the palate but also for the heart: it is produced in the women's prison of Pozzuoli, where since 2010, female inmates have been working to become active protagonists of their change, learning a trade that can give them the possibility of real redemption. Le Lazzarelle unites two vulnerable souls: women and small coffee growers from the southern part of the world. The beans come from the Shadhilly cooperative, which supports collaboration initiatives with these small producers.
