Description
Black chickpeas are an excellent food rich in proteins, starch, and mineral salts, and a rich source of raw fibers. The skin is rough, irregular, and black in color. Their intense flavor also makes them perfect even when simply cooked and seasoned with good extra virgin olive oil. I recommend soaking them for at least 36 hours and cooking for up to 60-90 minutes. If using a pressure cooker, 40 minutes from the start of the whistle will be necessary. These chickpeas are produced exclusively in the Alta Tuscia Viterbese area, grown in open fields by local farmers. They are available in 400g bags. INGREDIENTS: chickpeas.
