Wash the oranges well, scrub the peel, then dry and cut into pieces.
Remove any seeds and transfer to a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
Add the sugar and place on the stove.
When the sugar begins to melt, stir occasionally, continuing to cook for about 30 minutes.
Transfer while still hot to a blender and blend for about 30 seconds.
Transfer to previously sterilized jars and, once cool, store in the fridge.
