
Rustic pie with provola and mortadella
A simple and quick savory pie, perfect for dinner or an aperitif. Filled with sweet provola and mortadella, this rustic pie is a real treat for the palate.
Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
1unit1unit - 100 g mortadella
100g100g - 100 g provola
100g100g - 2 rolls of puff pastry
2unit2unit - Poppy seedsto taste
Preparation

Unroll a roll of puff pastry and make a hole in the center with a small round bowl.
- STEP 2 OF 4
Take another roll of puff pastry and also make a hole in the center. Make incisions on the surface.
- STEP 3 OF 4
Place slices of provola and mortadella on the roll without incisions. Cover with the roll of puff pastry with incisions and seal the edges well. Seal both the outer and inner edges of the circle.
- STEP 4 OF 4
Brush the surface with an egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake at 190°C for about 25/30 minutes.
