Preparation

Hot version: in a pan, heat a tablespoon of oil, when hot add the spices, cook for a few moments and add the onion cut into thin pieces, let it brown.

When it becomes transparent, add the chickpeas and cook for a few minutes to let the flavors blend.
- STEP 3 OF 4
When ready, transfer them to a bowl, add lemon juice, maple syrup, and tahini, and mix well.

Cold version: in a bowl, put the thinly sliced onion, chickpeas, spices, salt, and pepper, mix well. Then add lemon juice, maple syrup, and tahini, and mix well.
