A simple and light recipe to prepare perfect calamari fry using an air fryer, with just a spray of oil.
Cut the squid or calamari into rings (you can also use pre-cut ones) and dry them well.
Put the semolina in a food bag.
Add the calamari, close the end of the bag with your hands, and shake until all the calamari are covered with semolina.
Sift the excess semolina.
Transfer them to the air fryer basket, add a spray of oil, and cook at 190 degrees for about 15 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
Check the cooking: they might be done in 12 minutes.
Alternatively, bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
