Cut the squid or calamari into rings (you can also use pre-cut ones) and dry them well.
Put the semolina in a food bag.
Insert the calamari, close the end of the bag with your hands and shake until all the calamari are coated with semolina.
Sift off the excess semolina.
Transfer them to the air fryer basket, add a spray of oil and cook at 190 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
Check the cooking: they may cook in as little as 12 minutes.
Alternatively, cook in the oven for about 20 minutes.
