An easy and quick recipe that will win you over! Rolls made from sandwich bread, filled with mozzarella and tomato, breaded and baked until crispy and melty. They can also be cooked in an air fryer.
Take a slice of sandwich bread and roll it out with a rolling pin.
In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cut into cubes, the tomato puree, the oil, salt, and oregano.
Place the mixture in the center of the slice of sandwich bread and fold it like a cannolo.
Dip them in beaten egg and then in breadcrumbs, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated convection oven (or air fryer) at 200°C for 15/20 minutes.
