

Delicious fried mozzarella balls prepared in an air fryer, crispy outside and gooey inside. Perfect as an appetizer or snack.
Dry the mozzarella balls very well with kitchen paper until they are practically dry.
Coat the mozzarella balls first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs with a pinch of salt, shaking the bowl.
Repeat the process for a double coating, dipping the mozzarella balls again in the egg and the breadcrumbs.
Place the mozzarella balls in the freezer for at least 45 minutes or even better for a few hours.
Cook the mozzarella balls in the air fryer with a spray of oil at 200 degrees for about 7 minutes, turning them halfway through. Alternatively, cook them in the oven at 220 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden, or fry them in plenty of sunflower oil.
