Discover Catalan-style mussels, a variation of the Sardinian Catalan lobster typical of the Alghero area, with all the scents of the sea!
Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes, collecting their juice in a bowl, add salt and black pepper, and two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Slice the red onion into rings and add it to the bowl with the cherry tomatoes. Let the mixture marinate for an hour if possible.
Arrange the mussels on a plate and cover with the tomatoes, squeeze half a lemon, and finally add the other two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
For a stronger flavor, let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.
Up to 12 hours stored in the refrigerator.
Serve as an appetizer.
