

Delicious calamari rings and tentacles covered in a crunchy golden crust, perfect to enjoy as an appetizer or main course. The recipe is easy and quick, ideal for air frying to make them light and crispy without the use of abundant oil.


Thaw the calamari and rinse them under running water.
Wash and cut the datterini tomatoes.
Chop the parsley.
In a bowl, combine calamari rings and tentacles, datterini tomatoes, and pitted black olives.
Add the grated cheese.
Grate the lemon zest and add it along with the chopped garlic clove.
Add the chopped parsley and breadcrumbs.
Season with extra virgin olive oil and salt, and mix well with your hands.
Cook in the air fryer at 180 °C for 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

As an alternative to the air fryer, it can be baked in a convection oven at 180 °C for 25 minutes. Serve warm accompanied by stick fries prepared in an air fryer.
