
Baked salt cod with potatoes is a classic of Italian cuisine. The salt cod is first softened by soaking the fish in water and then baked together with the potatoes. The combination of flavors is irresistible and makes this dish perfect for a special dinner.










Blanch the salt cod in lightly salted boiling water for 5 minutes and cut it into eight pieces
Arrange in an oiled baking dish a layer of potato slices; season with salt and pepper; cover with a layer of salt cod then with tomato slices; then again potatoes, salt, pepper, salt cod, olives and tomatoes; drizzle with oil, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in the oven at 180°C
