

Beans and rice are a typical dish of Italian tradition. This recipe uses frozen borlotti beans, smoked pancetta, onion, a stock cube, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Preparing this first course is very simple and requires only a few steps. The beans are boiled and then combined with pancetta, onion and garlic, and seasoned with a stock cube, chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Rice is then added and cooked until al dente. The dish is ready to be served, preferably hot.
Boil the beans
In a separate pan, sauté the diced pancetta in oil with the onion, garlic and chopped parsley
Add the beans to the sautéed mixture and stir well
Add one liter of water and the stock cube; bring to a boil, add the rice and cook
Adjust the salt and, if desired, add pepper
