Chicken Cacciatora is a traditional Italian dish, originating from the Tuscany region. It is a tasty main course made with chicken, slowly cooked with tomatoes, onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Garlic and juniper give the dish an aromatic and intense flavor.

Cut the chicken into eight pieces and sauté with 100 g of margarine
Add sliced cherry tomatoes
Season with salt and pepper and mix
Let it infuse a little in a covered pot
Then add sliced shallots, diced carrots, and strips of bell peppers
Stir again and cover, adding lastly two cloves of garlic and a few juniper berries
The chicken should be almost fully cooked when you remove the lid and raise the heat to thicken the sauce and make it dense enough
