Preparation

  1. STEP 1 OF 9

    Boil the rice in plenty of salted boiling water for no more than 10 minutes

  2. STEP 2 OF 9

    Drain it and run it under a jet of cold water to stop the cooking

  3. STEP 3 OF 9

    Season it with 2 tablespoons of oil

  4. STEP 4 OF 9

    In a large wok pan heat the oil and gently sauté the onions cut into rings and the garlic chopped. Add the pork cut into medium strips and drizzle with the soy sauce and the vinegar

  5. STEP 5 OF 9

    Immediately after the meat, add the bell peppers cut into small squares, the mushrooms thinly sliced and the bamboo shoots in whole slices

  6. STEP 6 OF 9

    Adjust the flavor with the stock cube and the sugar

  7. STEP 7 OF 9

    Towards the end of cooking, blend the curry into the mixture and pour in the milk, letting it reduce until it has the consistency of a semi-liquid sauce

    Distribute the rice on individual flat plates and spoon the very hot mixture over it

    Pork can be replaced with chicken breast or shrimp can be used instead of the meat
