Divine meatballs are a delicious appetizer made with tuna in oil, ricotta, and hard-boiled eggs. Soft and succulent, these meatballs are perfect to enjoy during an aperitif or as an appetizer at lunch or dinner. Tuna in oil gives them an intense and enveloping flavor, while ricotta makes the meatballs light and creamy. Lemon juice, capers, and mayonnaise add a touch of freshness and acidity. A simple dish to prepare but with a surprising result!

Using a mixer, blend together a peeled hard-boiled egg, the drained tuna, capers, ricotta, softened butter, and lemon juice.
Next, season and pepper the obtained mixture and place it in a large bowl that you will keep in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel the other eggs, slice them, and arrange them on a flat serving plate; then take the mixture out of the refrigerator and, using the palms of your hands, create balls and place them on the slices of hard-boiled eggs.
Finally, decorate them with curls of mayonnaise and serve.
Tip: to make your dish look nicer, you could line it with large lettuce leaves and add capers or sliced pitted black olives on the curls of mayonnaise.
