Fennel in milk is a delicious and light side dish, perfect to accompany meat or fish main courses. The fennel is simmered in milk and flavored with butter, parsley and a bouillon cube, then gratinated with grated Parmigiano cheese. The result is a creamy and tasty dish that everyone will enjoy.
Trim the fennel and cut each into 4 wedges
Put the fennel in a pot with the milk, the butter and the crumbled bouillon cube
Cover and cook until done. If the mixture dries out too much, add a little hot water
Finally add the chopped parsley and check the salt
Sprinkle with grated Parmigiano, stir and serve immediately
