Fried artichokes are a classic side dish in Italian cuisine. The artichoke hearts are cleaned and sliced thinly, then dipped in beaten egg and flour. Finally, they are fried in plenty of olive oil until golden and crispy. A simple dish to prepare but with an irresistible flavor.
