
Grilled artichokes are a classic side dish of Italian cuisine. This simple and quick recipe involves grilling whole artichokes, enhancing their unique flavor and crunchiness. The artichokes are seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and salt, creating an aromatic and tasty dish. Perfect to accompany grilled meats or fish.





Clean the artichokes by removing the tougher leaves and the internal fuzz.
Cut them in half and immediately immerse them in a bowl with water and lemon to prevent oxidation.
Dry them very well, lightly brush them with a bit of oil, and place them on the grill of your barbecue or if you're doing it at home on a hot cast iron plate and cook over medium heat for about 7 minutes.
Salt them and serve warm garnished with some fresh aromatic herbs you have available.
