
Homemade veal meatloaf is a tasty dish typical of Italian cuisine. Prepared with minced veal, cooked ham, eggs, and spices, it is irresistible. It is baked with a delicious tomato sauce. Perfect to enjoy hot right out of the oven or cold for a packed lunch.





In a bowl, mix the meat with chopped ham, beaten eggs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper
Form a ball and coat it with flour, giving it an elongated shape
In a pan, heat butter and oil and carefully sauté a mixture of onion, carrot, and celery
Add the meatloaf and brown it on all sides
Add the tomato paste diluted with a bit of hot water and mix
Cover and let it cook slowly for about an hour
Slice the meatloaf into not too thin slices and cover them with the sauce
