Lamb with paprika is a traditional dish of Hungarian cuisine, but with its rich and spiced flavor it has become very popular in other European kitchens as well. The lamb meat is seasoned with garlic, salt, pepper and paprika to absorb all the flavors. It is then cooked slowly to become tender and succulent. Before serving, it is accompanied by sliced boiled potatoes and a creamy yogurt.
Brown in hot oil 1000 g of lamb meat cut into pieces and floured
Then remove the meat and in the pan sauté 2 sliced onions and 1 clove of garlic
Add the lamb, season with salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon of paprika, pour in 1 cup of yogurt, cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes
Serve hot with sliced boiled potatoes
