Leeks with cream are a tasty and creamy side dish typical of Italian cuisine. The leeks are cooked slowly in butter and then dressed with cream and grated cheese. A great choice to accompany meats or fish.

Clean and wash the leeks; boil them in salted water for 15 minutes.
Drain them and gently pat dry.
Heat the cream with the butter cut into pieces, stir and pour over the very hot leeks; sprinkle with grated cheese and serve.
