Orange butter is a delicious sauce with a citrusy and slightly spicy flavor. Ideal to accompany meat or fish dishes, or to use as a seasoning for salads and vegetables. The fresh note of the orange perfectly blends with the creaminess of the butter. A real explosion of flavors!

Wash an orange under running water, dry it and zest it.
Put this in a small saucepan together with the juice of both fruits and the sugar and bring everything to a boil.
Reduce the liquid to about a third of the initial quantity over moderate heat.
At the end, remove the juice from the heat, add the mustard, a pinch of salt, a grind of pepper, and the chopped parsley and basil.
Place the softened butter at room temperature in a bowl, add the reduced orange juice and work everything with a wooden spoon until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
