
Pasta and lentils is a typical dish of Italian cuisine. It is a substantial and tasty first course, perfect for the winter period. Cook the lentils in water over low heat.
When they are tender, add the oil, grated garlic, salt, and tomatoes.
Cook for another 30 minutes.
Break the mafalde and add the pasta to the soup. Cook using the risotto method.
Once ready and creamy, turn off, wait a few minutes and serve finishing with some chili if desired.
