Prepare the sauce: bring the cream to a boil, add the ham cut into slices, and boil until the cream has reduced by about half

Remove from heat, add the butter, Parmesan, parsley, and mix

Cook the pasta al dente, keeping the sauce warm, covered, over a very low flame
