Penne with zucchini is a simple yet flavorful first course. The zucchini is sautéed in a pan with shallots, olive oil, and butter, then combined with al dente pasta. A generous sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese and a touch of chopped fresh marjoram complete this deliciously aromatic dish.

In a wide and low pan, heat oil and butter over low heat, then sauté the zucchini cut into not too thin rounds.
After a quarter of an hour, add the marjoram and adjust the salt.
In a pot, bring water to a boil, add salt, and cook the penne.
Drain al dente and toss them into the pan with the zucchini.
Mix and serve with grated cheese on the side.
