Peperonata with breadcrumbs is a tasty and colorful side dish made with peppers of different colors, capers, oregano and delicious crumbled breadcrumbs. Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and the white inner ribs, then cut them into large slices
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the peppers
Fry them well and, as they are ready, drain them with a slotted spatula onto a sheet of absorbent paper so they lose excess oil
Sprinkle them with Pecorino, the breadcrumbs, oregano and a little salt
Mix well and let rest for a good ten minutes before serving
